  • ST – I'll Meet You There EP

STA trio of ‘out there’ tracks, electro rock with a hit of ambience. ST creates a flowing sensation on this EP, combining an ambient feel with smooth and slightly glitched out drums and electro synths to create a sound reminiscent of Royksopp or Bonobo.

  • The Big Sleep – You Today, Me Tomorrow

Psychedelic guitar rock. The Big Sleep creates a lush soundscape of guitar progressions mixed in with ambient feedback type sounds to form a Pink Floyd-ish set of tracks on this release.

  • New London Fire – A Wave Form

Indie Rock. Four tracks of original music plus one remix, New London Fire has a sort of ‘Beatles meet The Grateful Dead’ type sound, with a dash of the Cure. Enjoy!

  • Geppy – A Matter Of Time EP

Mad mad break rock! Electro, world, breakbeat, and who knows what else make up these outstanding two tracks. The first track, A Matter Of Time, is breakbeat mixed with some RATM style guitar / distorted synth type sounds, fast paced and nonstop all the way through. The second track, Rootsick, is a tad more soulful and cerebral, while maintaining the same pace as the first track. If you don’t listen to anything else you find here, at least listen to Geppy.

  • Kopi Luwak – The Art Of War

New age style with a hint of asian influence. Kopi Luwak offers a set of tracks that are minimal, but rock at the same time. Sort of rock and roll with a new age twist. You can sometimes find Kopi at The Auditorium, so drop by and show your appreciation in this thread.

  • Very Large Array – Stuff

Garage style rock. Very innovative, comparable to U2 and Oasis. A varied set of tunes that will keep you interested all the way through.

  • The Vue – Down For Whatever

Rock! Garage band type music in the style of Jet, The White Stripes, etc. A great set of rowdy tunes, perfect driving music. Make sure you check out the rest of their site at thevue.com.

  • Annetenna – Self Titled

Awesome pop record! If you only download one album this year, make it this one. Female vocalist with excellent backing music. Make sure you give this one a listen!

  • Drunken Gunmen – Deep Space, Distant Future

A dash of Hearts of Space, a pinch of industrial, and a generous helping of pure weirdness. I suppose this could only be classified as Ambient Experimental Space Rock. Maybe? These guys are definitely worth a listen.

  • Two Zombies Later

This is an interesting two disc album featuring off the wall tracks by various artists. It may not be your cup of tea, but if you like this sort of thing, then this is the sort of thing you’ll like. It’s a completely free download.
