  • Night Night – Stuntman and Psychic

Night NightFrom Obsevatory Online netlabel comes Night Night. A soothing and relaxing set of three tracks, mixing ambient sounds with various bits of static and bent circuit noises, this release is great for listening to on your way out of the world at the end of the day.

  • Dsrv – Understood [EP]

Dsrv - Understood [EP]This is a peaceful yet moving set of tracks. Starting out with a sort of jazzy electro sampled piece called Autumn Ride (which suddenly goes ambient right in the middle for a few seconds), we move on to a more ambient track that goes back to electro about a minute in. The rest of the release varies in this manner, as if Dsrv can’t decide whether he wants to go ambient or breakbeat or hardcore trance… which works for us listeners.

  • Lemnisine

    Lemnisine

Nice synthesized rock and ambient sounds. Cool site design as well.

  • ST – I'll Meet You There EP

STA trio of ‘out there’ tracks, electro rock with a hit of ambience. ST creates a flowing sensation on this EP, combining an ambient feel with smooth and slightly glitched out drums and electro synths to create a sound reminiscent of Royksopp or Bonobo.

  • Explosions In The Sky – The Rescue

Ambient alt-rock. A musical journey from one place to the other, reminiscent of The Big Sleep.

  • Arturo en el Barco – Music for Students

An ambient yet glitchy release. Created by Angélica Negrón, from Puerto Rico, these tracks are slightly reminiscent of my buddy blipp, found at the auditorium. Dreamy piano with ambient spacescape backgrounds carry this release from start to finish.

  • FieldTriqp – Eidolon EP

Ethereal pads, heavy beats. Ambient music, with a kick. I really liked the way these five tracks flow together. Fieldtriqp also offers a bonus video for one of their tracks. If you like dreamy relaxation music, you’ll love this.

  • Kopi Luwak – The Art Of War

New age style with a hint of asian influence. Kopi Luwak offers a set of tracks that are minimal, but rock at the same time. Sort of rock and roll with a new age twist. You can sometimes find Kopi at The Auditorium, so drop by and show your appreciation in this thread.

  • Confused Man – Floating

The title says it all. Downtempo ambient music, chilled out and in a word – perfect.

  • Mizati – Conocer

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Here’s a release for you:

A dark sounding set of tracks, Mizati meanders in style but doesn’t displease in the slightest.
