I spent some time visiting some locations other than the downtown area. I saw an alligator, an old dilapidated dock, an abandoned radio communication shack complete with fallen antenna, wildlife and a sailboat. Here are a few of the shots.
The photo of the sail boat was taken with a Spiratone Ultratel – an old Russian lens from the ’70s that is more like a reflector telescope than a refracting lens. It has poor image quality but it works well in certain situations. The boat was around 1900 feet away, so about 4 tenths of a mile.
