  • Raz Mesinai

Today, we have not an album for you, but a collection of free tracks from multiple albums by a guy named Raz Mesinai. Not sure how to classify the style, it’s sort of drum and bass meets classical and eastern. Throw in a healthy dose of breakbeats and weird vocal samples and there you have it. Don’t miss this aural experience. Once you get to the website, click MP3 to get all the tracks listed together, or discography to get a breakdown of each cd. Enjoy!

Also today, if anyone is having trouble keeping there genres straight, then check out Ishkurs Guide To Electronic Music. It is a very educational and well thought out site.

  • bahgheera – Landing

Check out Landing, my latest track in the music section.

    _start(FALSE, ‘order=4’)

Also, check out a hilarious way to learn how to shred on a guitar, at The Guitar Shred Show. Even if you have no interest in learning to play, it’s a fun little cartoon that you can play with the keyboard. Enjoy!

  • Peggy Snow

Peggy Snow is a voice from another place. Far away sounding tracks with ethereal vocals, relaxing but will have you on edge at the same time.

  • GeeNerv – Suspense Dance Delights

GeeNerve: Suspense Dance DelightsGreat big breakbeats meet obscure samples from 60’s pop music. I wouldn’t classify this as dance music, but it definitely has that ‘groovy’ feel.

  • Drunken Gunmen – Deep Space, Distant Future

A dash of Hearts of Space, a pinch of industrial, and a generous helping of pure weirdness. I suppose this could only be classified as Ambient Experimental Space Rock. Maybe? These guys are definitely worth a listen.

  • Stellamara – Star Of The Sea

_11.26.05 // There’s a new track in the music section called Landing. And for todays album:
I don’t even know how to begin to describe Stellamara, other than simply beautiful. Star Of The Sea is a moving album, full of lush soundscapes that evoke a peaceful sense of exploration. From the website:
Their music incorporates medieval European, Persian, Arabic, Indian, Turkish and Balkan with subtle electronic textures. The result is a sublime new level of mystery, beauty and depth.
Definitely give this one a listen!

  • Two Zombies Later

This is an interesting two disc album featuring off the wall tracks by various artists. It may not be your cup of tea, but if you like this sort of thing, then this is the sort of thing you’ll like. It’s a completely free download.
