The always outstanding Retronaut.co has some fantastic images that were taken during the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, in the years leading up to 1937. The bridge got it’s name from the Golden Gate  – the body of water that connects the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean –  and is one of the worlds most photographed bridges.
