    Well, after about a month of no updates, I”m finally back in business. I”ve been busy recreating the site in php. Now you can get the site displayed in a monthly format, as opposed to the last four years worth all on the front page. Plus, I wrote a backend for the site so I can add new items and edit old ones right in the browser here on bahgheera.com – as opposed to editing my .html file, saving it, opening ftp client, uploading, etc. Much more convenient this way, plus I had a great time learning php. At any rate, let’s get back to the music, shall we?
    NOTE: The site will not look completely correct in IE for a few days, I”m still working out some bugs here and there.
    EDIT: The IE bug is worked out; the site should look normal now.

  • Hermigervill – Lausnin

    Bring the funk on with Hermigervill. This is an absolutely EXCELLENT album of hip hop breaks, scratching, old school synth lines, funk, and who knows what else is in there. If you can translate the site, please let me know, I’d love to know what language that is. It looks like Norwegian or something. Anyways… enjoy this one – I know you will.

  • Mikkel Metal – Cassini Pieces

    Danish electro – six tracks from the artist and four remixes, Mikkel Metal is very chilled out electronic vibe with a vague reminiscence of dub music.

  • New London Fire – A Wave Form

    Indie Rock. Four tracks of original music plus one remix, New London Fire has a sort of ‘Beatles meet The Grateful Dead’ type sound, with a dash of the Cure. Enjoy!

  • Nick Schelle – We Should Have Been Done Hours Ago

    Electronic breaks and funk well done. Nine tracks of funkiness with a slightly humorous edge. The second track, Kashirai, really stands out – the fast hand drum line really makes the track. Then the organ comes in – perfection. Wrong Man is another good track, it reminds me of the Chemical Brothers track ‘Born Too Slow’. This album is top notch, probably one of my best finds on the net so far.

  • Olchey

    Olchey! Tuvan throat singing at it’s finest. This is a video of a concert by a group apparently called Olchey. Not much information is availiable at the site, but trust me – it’s worth the download. There are five members, all playing various stringed instruments, with two (maybe three?) vocalists performing in the Tuvan throat singing style. This is a must download video! It requires the DivX player, and it’s a large file (550 MB) so you’ll want to have broadband to get this. Enjoy!

  • Geppy – A Matter Of Time EP

    Mad mad break rock! Electro, world, breakbeat, and who knows what else make up these outstanding two tracks. The first track, A Matter Of Time, is breakbeat mixed with some RATM style guitar / distorted synth type sounds, fast paced and nonstop all the way through. The second track, Rootsick, is a tad more soulful and cerebral, while maintaining the same pace as the first track. If you don’t listen to anything else you find here, at least listen to Geppy.

  • FieldTriqp – Eidolon EP

    Ethereal pads, heavy beats. Ambient music, with a kick. I really liked the way these five tracks flow together. Fieldtriqp also offers a bonus video for one of their tracks. If you like dreamy relaxation music, you’ll love this.
