  • London Issue – Zweisamkeit EP

    Four tracks of (possibly) German dance music. Chilled out minimal vocal samples accompany fast paced and upbeat chords and rhythm, trippy synth work too.

    A double dose for today – three longish tracks, repetitive trance style music. This net release is good for listening to late at night, for those times when you’re up way too late, you know you should be sleeping. Shouldn’t you? Ah, who needs sleep.

    Old school alternative, if The Cult and Bush had a baby it’d be this band. Think back about twenty years ago, when you were checking out stuff like Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel. This is what you would have found between The Cure and Depeche mode. Madison Strays has a retro sound but still stay fresh.

  • Mandragora Tango Orchestra – Various Pieces

    Violin, piano and accordion combine to form the Mandragora Tango Orchestra. Top notch recordings of various tracks from their career, including covers of some very familiar tunes.

    Zacks Movies, the site of a college kid with a little too much time on his hands. The site has a movie of the making of his project for Cinema class, it’s hilarious. Watch it!

    Alright, my internet is back up. After a week of slogging through linux live cd’s and windows tcp/ip diagnosis tools, I finally fixed it.

    Arrgh! My internet connection is down. I’m having to surf the net with an Ubuntu live cd… this is really frustrating. Seems my network card has bitten the dust, which has caused windows to puke and die. If anyone know how to repair windows sockets, let me know!
