On Burnett Blvd, right before you get to Greenfield Lake and Carolina Beach Road, there is a fenced in area on the back of some sort of warehouse or something. In this yard were about fifteen or twenty old trucks and school buses, some looking like they date back to the fifties. These are the best shots of them I could get. They are all gone now. I’m glad I took photos when I did; I often wonder what happened to them, where they’ve gone. Who do you suppose drove around in these vehicles, who did the buses take to school and what did those utility trucks haul around? We’ll never know, I suppose.
